His Holiness Menri Trizin Rinpoche
His Holiness Lungtok Tenpei Nyima is the world-wide spiritual leader of the Bön religion of Tibet. He was born in Amdo, in the far eastern region of Tibet in 1927 and became a monk at the age of eight. At 26, he printed the Bönpo scriptures, a set of over one hundred books which is called the Kangyur, from wood blocks kept by the king of Trochen Gyalpo. At the time of the conflict against the Chinese in 1959, he fled on foot from Tibet to the border of Tibet and Nepal, then to Nepal and finally to India.

- Senior Teacher Of The Bönpo Tradition
H.E. Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche
The Venerable Lopon Tenzin Namdak, Rinpoche is the most senior teacher of the Bönpo tradition. He was born in 1926 in Southeastern Tibet. As Lopon, or Head Teacher, Rinpoche is part of an unbroken lineage of 33 generations through Nyambd Sherab Gyaltsen, the founder of Menri Monastery in Tibet.

H.E. Nangzhig Kyabgon Rinpoche, (Kalsang Lodro Gyaltso) was born in Amdo, Tibet in 1983. There are six major Zhang Zhung family lineages in the Tibetan Bön tradition, and his father, Namkha Loden, was the lineage holder of the well known and respected Nangzhig family. The Nangzhig ancestry is from the gNen family lineage and dates back over 1000 years.
